I somehow missed this. The G45/19X are probably my favorite Glocks overall. I like a full size grip on a Glock and they just seem to point naturally for me. I’d recommend a G45 for just about any use from carry to HD to competition.
I finally put the night sights on both. One thing about...
Over the years the Gen2 and 3 is what I mostly used, mainly because that is what they had at the time. However, I did very much like the Gen 4 and 5 Glocks. I prefer the grip texturing and back straps. The ambi controls are nice and could be a necessity if injured. And the FS have really...
Well last month I picked up two different police trade-in Glocks. One was a Gen 4 Glock 35 and the other a Gen 3 Glock 21.
I purchased a 9mm conversion barrel for the G35. I purchased night sights for each but haven't had the opportunity to put them on yet. Both in very good condition...
I figured it would be that way. I'm surmising that except for the logo, the RCM barrel is going to be pretty much the same thing for a few bucks less.
I just bought a 9mm conversion barrel for my Glock 35. From a vendor that gets production over-runs on various gun parts. This barrel is...
Might have been a range or test pistol. I can see it. I know of two different Sig P365 range pistols that have 100k rounds on them. One was in an article and the other discussed on a private gun forum from one of the former LEO range guys at the shop. Said the P365 is the most popular range...
I'm curious what the needed repair was? If anyone has any further information I'd like to see it.
And this confirms what I've been told before about springs, they don't need to be replaced nearly as often as people think. Years ago I took my (then) off-duty Glock 26 Gen 2.5 to my agency...
I traded for my USPc9 with night sights a little over a year and a half ago. Don't recall what I traded but I'm sure the trade was in my favor. If I had to guess I probably had less than $500 into that trade. The complete 40 S&W slide cost me $400 with some mags. Enhanced mag release paddles...
"Never seen a man leave the house for an HK and return with a Glock unless it was multiple Glocks...and he acknowledged the fact it still wasn't an HK".
That is all. (y)
I started out on revolvers. Specifically the S&W M64 which was my duty weapon for the first decade. Very good pistol.
The S&W 686 has always been a favorite of mine. Never had the full size but did have a 2 1/2 inch model. It is a very sharp looking revolver.
Shout out to the Ruger GP100...
Not an amateur question at all. I had a P30sk with the LEM trigger that I carried off-duty for a while. Very nice trigger, but yes, it is very light. I would give the same advice as I do with a striker-fired pistol that doesn't have a manual safety...be anal about safely handling it to...
I have a WML on my Sig P365 and P365. I carry one or the other, usually the XL 99% of the time these days. I have a TLR-6 on both of them.
Beam shots on page #8 of this LINK.
I also have WML on my night stand pistols, a Glock 19X (TLR-8) as well as several HD pistols and my PCC.
I like a...
