Although I'm not really qualified to offer advice I will offer some thoughts. Selling SBRs off the shelf requires a really commited buyer. Form 1 wait times might give a buyer cold feet. Also the approval wait time gives a buyer time to change his mind. If I were in your position I would sell them as braced pistols and let the buyer decide if he wants to file

Too late... I registered them with the NFA Branch as SBR's.
As a Type 7/C2, I efile my form 2's and typically get them approved within 48 hours.
I've heard that e-filed form 3's are taking anywhere from 3 - 6 weeks, Form 4's are a WHOLE different story and take anywhere from 9 to 14 months for approval.

I won't submit an e-file until the buyer has paid in full for the piece he/she wants.
