416 D-SF Arms Unlimited

1st post here. I ordered one Sunday. Pretty excited about it-should be a fun little tax return.

Yea I actually just discovered this forum today. I’ve been on hk pro awhile but I don’t post much. I actually got into B&T stuff a decade ago by purchasing a APC9 which lead to HK.

@bandtfanboy I believe these are remarked MR223’s. They were stripped and marked outside of the US. Then brought in and registered as the 416 D-SF. As others have mentioned the “D” rifles are all A1 vintage. And all other examples of original D-SF’s have the 88- serial and non-ambi controls. All of that said if they were in the $4000 range I would pick one up as a novelty item. Congratulations on your purchase. Please share pictures and feedback once you receive it

Yea I saw some of the guys saying that. I don’t necessarily believe or disbelieve that but everyone is definitely entitled to their opinions.

Once you receive it then I suggest emailing the serial number to HKO and they can put the question to rest once and for all. Please share the results so that we may have confirmation one way or the other.

I think it is a very nice rifle and feel that you will be happy with it. If AU did the right thing and proved their lineage they would sell out quickly. But they have been silent.

As stated above I would like to add one to my collection, but at a different price point with my current feeling.
