I realize it's probably a rare commodity but I think I'm interested in finding a wood handguard for the C93 I picked up. I say "I think" because the price one will command will probably change my mind

G3 wood handguards are rarer than hens teeth, they run around $100 or more whenever I see them for sale. I usually charge $150 on top of that to shorten them for 93 and mp5 length, so that's about the sticker shock you're looking at.
I have one with a plastic foregrip that is 93 length. Not quite the thing if you're going for a purely retro look, but I get asked for mp5 lengths of these guys now and then so last time I made a 93 too. The wood is epoxied to an aluminum tube that runs into the plastic and gets epoxied and screwed with little button head cap screws, should be a nice solid HG.
