Was digging out some Small Pistol Primers from my stash and came across these; prices from the 90s... Then it hits home... WTF? $69.95 for a case of 5000 Small Pistol Primers!!! And I seem to recall it was cash-n-carry (& no tax) back then at the Crossroads of the West Gun Show. Ugh. Ugh ugh ugh.

I’ve got a few boxes of .308 Norma Mag from the 1970s that still have the $9.99 stickers on them. Kinda cringed when I opened them after paying $50/box and got a “good deal” on a gun forum a few years ago.

Yep, I still have about 5000 rounds of SA 308.
In those cool, South African metal cases.
IIRC 980 round cases were something like $180...

The cheapest I bought 7.62, was 10-cents a round. Crated and battle packed. The best stuff I bought was German, in OD ammo-cans. I'm still sitting on "some" of both.
