Well i guess i can pull my WTB add. I found and subsequently over paid for this italian import. So i thought i would make a post on this and we can pool any information.

That AmChar engraving is seriously God awe full. However it looks very close to the German markings that we know and love. The HK is Laser etched so no shock there.

One thing that is different is the proofmark. An eagle with characters. I will have to look into this.

Sights are nothing to write home about. Standard, but this comes with a spur hammer, instead of the bobbed one. Interesting since that is what i did with my USPc .45

This side has a very unique rollmark. why are these like this

Has a date code of AE for the Frame.

Barrel is very shiny. this was before i cleaned it.

Comes with its own foreign instruction manual, and target.

Came with two magazines, nothing special about them.
For what its worth its in impressive shape for a supposedly Italian police issue. I like the setup and I wonder if we will ever find out where they really came from.

What really gets me is the Heckler & Koch roll mark, that seems to me a bit more on the rare side. Which begs the question, will these ever command a higher price due to limited numbers and extra rollmark?

Not that i care for the value, i just wanted it, and have a spare slide to use for it, that i need to get worked on. That will be fun.

Currently, I have seen 27-065307 through 27-065581. ;)

I will let you know that mine is definitely within that range.
