After a long week I decided to go out in the shop and let customers guns sit as I needed a “me day” so I built myself another MP5 host gun. From start to finish-prepping the parts, rolling the flat, welding it all up, test firing, and then engraving....took me 6 1/2 hours and it was so nice. Dad went with me for the test drive and I was teaching him how to run my CNC Mill to do the engraving on it.

More pics

The top gun was my first, middle was my second, and the bottom one was today. I’ve learned a ton between these guns and now to get them all cera-koted.

Most excellent--- all the way around. 😲
By the way, your Dad will not work for free. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I'm trying hard to keep from typing "I hate you" again.

Do you do your own cerakote or do you send them out?

Timely as I'm about to start a thread asking about gun finishing.

I liked the little smirk you gave the camera after the mag dump.

Funny you ask about gun finishing as I was offered a complete turn key cerakote operation. I have to go look at it and decide how far down that hole I wanna go

Took it out tonight and checked the zero since I removed the rear sight base and put it back on last night.

I gave it a coat of Rustolium “camouflage” black and followed with a coat of semi gloss to keep the gun from rusting until I can get it cerakote’d. Have to say-it looks good :-)
