Remember folks these are the people that came after Tom Bostic, they want braces, FRT triggers, the ability to make and change law arbitrarily and without over sight. They got bump stocks and they are trying to get Form 1 suppressors. Please, please realize it is NOT about whether you think the items they have and are going after are silly, stupid or whatever. It IS about taking our FREEDOMS. It IS about them going after normal folks WHO ARE TRYING TO OBEY THE LAWS. If they took this same motivation and put it into going after real crooks with the laws ALREADY WRITTEN they might actually validate their less than desirable existence!! Sit idly by and end up on bended knee.

I hope this gets more attention than my post about the Form 1 suppressors and the ATF shenanigans with that. As a side note on that....the American Suppressor Association is fighting that fight.
Agreed. Knowing that, and also knowing that full auto is highly overrated, I never saw the reason to bother. I can do semi. I can do FA "trigger finger selects length of burst". That shit with FRT units (which I have shot) I just can't find a place for in my BHG because it's going bang when it's not supposed to.
Nope. They are neat, I guess, just not for me. That said, everything since NFA 1934 is an Infringement at one level or another. Problem is, we don't live in the world now that we did in the 60's, or even the 70's. Yeah, it's a case of the 10% being the reason the rest of us can't have nice things, but I don't think anyone is advocating mail order firearms the way they were sold without even a DL in the 1960's. Nice as that would be for all us non problem children. It's just not doable. That means there is a NEED for what ATF does for industry oversight as far as tracking sales and putting real actual criminals with an FFL out of business and in prison. Sure, most of us are following the law, but ask any ATF Compliance guy about some of the shit they deal with. Imagine an FFL just blatantly disregarding virtually every Federal regulation he's required to operate under. Thousands of guns out the back door, open sales to convicted felons, hundreds not even accounted for, the kind of stuff that takes you half way to a heart attack just reading about it. WTF, right? People are doing crazy shit these days.

@Lamont good point and I dont disagree, about the rate of fire thing - I will take ONE well placed round over 1000 rounds of suppressive fire ANYDAY. But we keep moving into a nanny state....it isnt JUST about guns really truth be told. Its being told what our kids should be taught, what we are supposed to think and how we should act on a number of issues. Men being men is not tolerated. Everyone now looks for a way to have their feelings hurt. Everyone believes they are being slighted. There is little to no pride in our Country because everyone seems to be ate up with wanting to emulate thug life or the Kardashians. Being a straight Christian male is repulsive now and I believe it is not because of being a male or a Christian, it is a way for youngsters to "buck" their parents who are afraid to whoop their asses when its needed. That same mentality leads to "wokeness", a false sense of entitlement and the problematic idea that hard work, time and seniority are all a hinderance to them being "given a position" in the work force. I could keep going but Im sure no one desires to hear me rant. Bottom line is I been hangin my ass in the wind since 1995 to protect our Country, citizens, our rights, privileges and property and watching it be slowly eroded hurts and in this old Grunt's opinion is sad.

We would have had to imagine the unimaginable to have seen this coming on the level it is. I mean, we all knew there were American born Subversives out there, even outright Traitors, people who hated America due to the insidious poison of collective group think by whatever name, but even their incremental erosion was still somewhat absorbed by the whole. What you'd have to be Nostradomus to see coming is the unspoken alliances between everyone from corporations, big tech, social media, globalists, and the Chinese ALL in the goal of tearing down America so it can be scavenged. They all think they will be the lone survivor in the end, or at least the world of their imagined future will have a special place for them and those like them. They are all mistaken, for only one reason, although others could be argued, and it is this, "What they do is not sustainable". Evil never is because it is not our natural state.
And then right on the heels of all this, in the last 40 days and 40 nights we have the eventual kickoff to WWIII. Anyone who believes any different has no grasp of history, human nature, and the only reason it hasn't spread already is the nuclear genie. The longer this goes on the greater the risk of that bottle being opened, and there is nothing but a "long" future to all this already. Anyone who thinks whole cities on the European land mass can be turned into wastelands and their populations diaspoara'd into the rest of Europe without this triggering a wider conflict is dreaming, it's just a matter of time. Consider that the run-ups to full out all blown World War took a couple years in both previous cases, but I am fucking telling you, this is nowhere close to over, and even AFTER the whole deal is over some years in the future, we will have the recovery period, if it can be called that, to look forward to. Remind yourselves that the 1920-30's followed WWI, and after WWII even in the USA it was really 10 years before things "returned to normal" and in Western Europe more like 20. (A half century of slavery for Eastern Europe, under "guess who".....) At that point, back to war again, this time a "cold" one.....people forget The Wall went up not at the end of the war, but 16 years later.......while moving forward through the multiple proxy wars of Korea, Vietnam, Rhodesia, Lebanon, etc., etc., that avoided direct confrontation and solved nothing......because here we all are again, Russia, China, and the USA.

Among people who were not born and raised here, or were but have been raised to believe anti-American twaddle, sure. But this is not WWII era where we need large numbers of bodies, at the risk of eye rolling I'll point out how few it takes to push buttons and run the launch platforms. We don't need 20K Marines for an island no one ever heard of. BOG is only for taking territory and militarily that's not of long term value these days except as career enhancement for all the wrong people and an endless parade of stars and stripes draped coffins.
