Seriously, what would someone do with a kit like this? Cut up a real HK and remark it to G3K? Just engrave a PRT flat and make a clone? It's seriously cool but that a lot of money for a kit

I hear this is going on an RRPP gun. That's worth 6k to keep it German.
 
OK, another noob question(s);
So this started life and was imported to the US as a G3 machine gun? Correct? What is the well-heeled POM who bought it going to do with it?
He can sacrifice a beater 91 and use it to have the kit built but since the 91 receiver is, well, a 91 receiver the final weapon can never be a transferable machine gun, correct?
Class 3 laws are too complicated for my speed-limit IQ to fully grasp.
 
Only way to make it worthwhile would be to take a 80% FLAT and graft that mag well, trunnion, barrel and bolt.
The rest are just miss matched parts and another ugly ass Navy Lower.

And correct, Once a Machinegun, always a Machinegun, hence the Chopped Receiver
and NO NEW Machineguns can become Transferable, unless that SN was entered into the register prior to MAY 19, 1986
