So I decided to do this get the HK91 A3 stock buffer upgrade for $80 I figure why not now really the stock never bothered me like some people but I figured why not have a softer shooting gun. So I got my stock back from him all thing's 20211114_215949.jpg20211114_215943.jpg20211114_215955.jpg20211114_215934.jpglook good cant wait to test it this friday anyway here are some pics yes the $80 was for the buffer upgrade and install .

It's a nice upgrade to have you can see the new buffer tab its smaller as the spring being thinner and lighter anyway I am ready to put rounds down range!

I'm curious, what is so complicated about this mod that requires one to send the stock to him? Does he offer a DIY kit?
It's a pita to take apart if you look close you can see where my A3 stock is 4 positions I had to dissassemble it so I could mill out two more position notches then I reassemble her and it was a pain. As for me less hassle have him install it or you could just send $40 for the parts and do it yourself as for me I sent $80 to have it done. One thing I like is Bill's turnaround time is about a day or two .

Well I gotta say a real significant reduction in recoil it was nice to shoot it was definitely worth the money to have done no regrets I am really happy with this upgrade. I am gonna say if you have a A3 stock get this done its totally worth the money!

Cool.

Just had (2) buffers purchased from Bill. Looking forward to the reduced recoil difference.

The HK buffer and the padded stock make the rifle float straight back . I never lost the sight picture. Not the most accurate rifle on a good day and I wold not like to hump it for a month.

But this was a pleasant set up.

Ok, I can truly say the Bill Springfield Buffer upgrade was worth every penny. Also did the recoil pad upgrade, next is a comp install.
