That's funny. I've gotten to know a bunch of the old factory racers [also losing them too quickly], and I'm the same way when I've met almost every one. They were the heroes of my youth. I know I'll be hanging out with Butch Leal/California-Flash, Joe Pappas/Mopar Missile, and Ted Spehar/the man behind the scenes, this weekend. Always seems to be a few old racers show up to our group at the NATS. I've got the inside of my deck-lid autographed by probably 30-40 of the 60's-70's mopar factory racers. Many are no longer with us.

That's a cool place. Mr Garlits is all business at the track, and really cool when he's not racing. "Large Father"
 
Decided to take the WO car. I don't want to take the `cuda in it's almost done state, and maybe screw something up. I've come too far to go backwards......
There'll be for-sale signs on the silver car. Hopefully, come home with an empty trailer.(y)

I have to get on the stick. I have 3 possibles, waiting for pics and build details....
 
Went out to our annual Woodward Cruise lot, today. Going again tomorrow. Pretty hot out there.
