There are many people who believe that HK never made factory Nickel P7s. This particular P7 has the correct Arlington import mark and the correct Nickel plated trigger. It obviously has the wrong box, but it appears to be a true factory Nickel P7. Here is a picture for comparison.

I was under the impression that HK made more nickle M10's than blued .
The most common factory Nickel P7 variant is the M10. You are correct, there were more Nickel M10s then Blued. The M13 is the next most common followed by the M8 then the P7 like the one listed above followed by the P7M7 if you count that. I know I used the word “common”, but keep in mind that Factory Nickels are pretty rare. This is the first factory Nickel P7 (heel mag release) I have seen in over 7 years.

Very cool! Didn’t know they offered a standard P7 in Nickel. Kind of wish it had a matching box & accessories.

Just to be clear because the is NOT. That is a P7, NOT a P7M10. The Nickel M10s are more plentiful then a factory Nickel P7 like the one shown in the pictures.

Someday I may get a P7; missed my chance way back in the early 80s while stationed in Germany. Chrome plating though? After zooming in on this portion of the slide, it reminds me of what happens to vehicles with chrome bumpers after a year or two of driving in brutal Northern WI winters... Chrome bumpers...can you tell I'm a boomer?

Nah, but I can tell you’ve been in Wisconsin in the winter! Same with Harley chrome. Mine stays in the barn until the first good, hard downpour in the spring to wash the salt off the road. Other than that, I don’t do chrome (much) anymore:

FNG question: I'm confident in Brobus's judgment on this one but for future reference is there a difference between factory nickel and 'hard chrome' (hard chrome just another name) or does hard chrome mean something done aftermarket and not factory?
