Factory option for P2000 threaded barrel

I stumbled upon the P2000 offered in Canada (with a 106mm/4.2in. extended barrel to comply with the laws there).



Desiring the factory HK barrel and knowing full well that a competent smith could thread it to match the USP/P30/VP9 thread pattern, I have to ask:

How would one go about importing these barrels to the U.S.?
Could the barrels be brought in as an accessory, or would it have to be complete P2000s brought in from Canada?
Do they have a unique part number that could be used to locate them with Canadian or European suppliers?

Inquiring minds want to know.

A "P2000-SD" would make an excellent HK45CT companion.

Don’t know the answer to the question and I do not see a part number specific to the barrel, only the gun, and just a sample size of one Canadian site and to be taken with a grain of salt (sounds like a sales pitch)…but they do mention it being discontinued.

Yeah. Lots of dealers list stuff as "discontinued" when in reality, it's just the end of a particular production run.

I’ve been tempted to try a threaded P30 Barrel to use in the P2000. I guess not very many people have tried a suppressed P2000.
