So I have limited access to extra mag options for my P8, and one of them happens to be a USP 15rd metal mag? are these the same as the polymer, do the work the same? I'm just wondering because I've seen both metal and plastic with he same serial #'s and UPC? I'm also in a position that once I purchase them I can't return them for "geographical" reasons. Thanks in advance troops.

I am not aware of any metal USP 15-rd mag. Could you post the UPC?

Thanks bro, here's a screenshot of the mags. I can highlight the UPC if you can't read it?

It's a mistake on their site (Material = Steel). These mags are polymer with steel-reinforced feed lips.
Part number should be 214305S.

I need to do some research to see if a standard USP 9 mag would work with a P8.

Thanks I emailed them to make sure it's a mistake, and I agree, everything out there suggests they are only in polymer. Thanks BTW

Unless Im grossly, mistaken… they do. The P8A1 is pretty much the same gun. The mags are interchangeable.

The P8/P8A1 is the USP9FS, differing only in the safety (FS v. SF)/decocker and barrel (lands and grooves v. polygonal). :)
The P8A1 was upgraded with luminous sights (v. white), thicker slide at certain points, and nitride finish. ;)

I have been thinking about the P8A1 that the dealer has for $ 1500. I didn't like the import mark on the slide - it was small - but didn't thrill me. I guess any of these will have an import mark.

They will all have some sort of import mark but some are better than others... see my German HK45 below which has the import mark on the serial number plate.
