I bought a MR223 upper in tan, ordered a tan LPK from AU and got gaffed by them [black only]. So, I purchased a complete tan LPK from HKP, and purchased a new/complete MR556A1, to strip for the lower.
Black Ops will be refinishing and marking the lower.

It seems that the only way to get what you want, is to pay the long dollar from reputable businesses these days. So be it.....

That's why I've always built and had the stuff, over the years. I'm always on a mission.

I hope to have this done, this year...many delays and cost over-runs.

Stripped out a NOS lower, today. Off to see the wizards at Black-Ops....
This is for my black SBR. The lower for the RAL one is in process.

I'll probably reassemble this new lower, and sell it. Black Ops is too proud of their work.
I'll have Gigliotti RifleWorks do another custom/ black one, for SBR #2. I've decided that a refinished/remarked, and factory serial numbered
HK lower, is no different than a quality clone receiver. Still not original.

I been collecting lots of 556 stuff. I'll be building these as I like them, not like from some instruction sheet.
I've noticed the real military stuff varies a bunch by end users.

Off to the engraver, next.....
So far, I'm really liking the lower and service from Gigliotti Rifleworks. Very pleasant and accommodating. Great price!

Custom serial number [matches my upper] , and NFA markings.

I don't want to part-out the NIB MR556 I bought. So, it stays intact.
I now have 3 11" uppers, and two lowers. This is getting stupid.
