I ordered the Leber V2 complete lower from L2 Prints with the picto markings back on October 27th. So about 4 weeks to land one of these. It will go in my SBR'd MKE ATI import from 2010. Hoping to not have to mess with locking pieces and recoil and firing pin springs. Probably wishful thinking. Won't throw too much at it at once but will eventually run it with the Huxwrx Ca$h 9k.

Very high quality 3D printing job from L2 Prints. I did need to open up the front a bit by shaving about a 1/2 mm off the bottom. I'm not sure if this was because I have the original MKE ATI import, but it didn't look like it was going to fit a new Century MKE K model either.

Got to an indoor range this morning. It's always good to hang with @MMissile

Initial thought: it looks better than it runs.

Having watched dozens of Super Safety videos on the internet, I knew better than to set high expectations. I was not wrong.

MKE AT94P (Curtis Higgins cut and threaded barrel)
US made 30 round magazine
MEN 124gr NATO ammo and Federal 147gr subsonic
with and w/o HUXWRX Cash 9k suppressor

Right out of the chute, I pulled the trigger hoping to dump 20 rounds and only got about 7 or 8 pew pews. I pulled the charging handle, ejected a live round and continued for another 7 or 8. This went on for the rest of the magazine.

I decided to throw on the suppressor and had the same experience.

As seen in the video, as long as I used short bursts (presumably less than 7 or 8 rounds) it functioned as expected.

Next steps are to replace the 100 degree locking piece with a 90 and use a German mag. Not much else to play with on this platform.

Yeah, I'm gonna wait for AS designs to make a working pre-ban, HK lower... to fit my K/SP89. Then I'll swap out the non-working piece I have.
It was fun anyhow, today. My RB FRT seems to work real well in my AR SBR. Just have to adjust the gas. We'll return soon.

Seen them. Don't know if they'll be legal anywhere, by the time the working 3-position arrives. I believe it's gonna be a short time-window on this stuff.
 
Update: after emailing L2 Prints, they suggested I trim a quarter of the firing pin spring coils off. As seen in the pic, I didn't do quite a quarter but maybe only 2 coils. That did the trick. I ran 150 rounds this evening with no stoppages. Apparently I was experiencing light primer strikes. I'm pleased.

Ran another 150 rounds at the range and had 1 light primer strike. I'm gonna trim one more coil from the firing pin spring and see what happens.
