Haenel CR223

Possibly not as collectible as the original Haenel CR223 (Trident, L.L.C. import) , but a pretty good price where it sits. ;)

I think Arms Unlimited started at $3,000 (maybe 3500?) and ended up with some at $2500

It is Bereli. Got curious and looked it up. Currently at 2199 for the keymod.

Not sure about tax and shipping.

Your state taxes, and free shipping. That's where I got mine. They want about 800 more, for the M-LOK. LOL

FYI, The thread pitch on the B&T/Haenel CR223s is M14x1RH. Finding an adapter or suppressor might be a little difficult for those who are wanting to suppress one. The HK MR223s have a funky pattern as well.

Left one in the cart yesterday and got a 5% off email today bringing it down to $2090 out the door with no shipping or tax outside of Florida.

I ignored/blocked their emails, while mine sat in the cart for about a week. I don't pay tax, so it was all good. I've already got 200 rounds thru it, and put a new Holosun 510 green-dot on it. NICE! Waiting on my friend to finish my suppressor adapter. You'll like it!
I also got my first SCR pistol, today. Very nice, and will be my "truck-gun".

Merry Christmas, everybody!!!...to who it applies to.

Putting a cheap Chinese optic on a German rifle seems like a bad idea but I am glad you got one at a good price Mike. I have been wanting one for awhile now but have other interest to pay for right now. That is a great price

Thanks, it's a nice firearm, for sure. Over the years, I've used a bunch of aimpoint and eotech stuff....and had to send stuff in for warranty work. Aimpoint sells the same stuff they did 30 years ago, at a modern/proud price. I'm not fond of the halo stuff, and it's also heavy. I've got 3 Holosun sights currently, and sold stuff with 2 more. They work perfect, and I won't pay twice as much for old outdated tech.....by companies who live off their names. I have a bunch of Elcan stuff [the best in IMO], but It goes on my already heavier weapons. I also can't go back to red-dots, after shooting green. Buying anything chi-com, isn't something I enjoy,...but paying big-cheese for antique stuff, just makes me feel like I just left the urologist.

I also don't play army, and am not trying to emulate some kind of "operator". Being proficient with my "irons", is key to any weapon I shoot. And unless it's a magnified piece, I think all this other stuff is just "techy-toys" for modern-men's Barbies. I know I don't need illumination for targets at 50 yards. I just appreciate the green-dots, with my old-eyes.

Why anyone buys these when you can pick up a Caracal 816a2 upper for $1250/800 (pro/.mil) is beyond me.

MLOK handguard, 1/2x28 threaded barrel, adjustable gas, and Made in USA in Idaho.

The "B&T" is just a rebadged Caracal ("Haenel" lol). B&T has stated this is an orphan and since "Haenel" lost the contract, these are not to be continued.

Keymod proprietary hand guard and wierd thread pitch on the barrel on the B&T/"Haenel" too.

Drop it on your preferred AR lower and off you go.

Pretty much an HK416a3 upper (HK416>SIG516>Caracal 816) for a bargain.

I have the SIG516 10.5 upper and the Caracal 816a2 11.5 upper, both very nice derivatives of the 416 engineering.

YMMV.
