HK CC9 - $529

I tried to buy on on a site for 502-bucks. The check-out was like buying a house. I bailed.

I understand. The only striker-fired pistols I like, are early HK designs. I've purchased probably a dozen strikers...and didn't care for any of them.
The closest I came, was the PPS.

Check out that "phone"....
Hell, check out that serial number.

I miss my Blackberry:cry:......it was so high tech.....
OMG I AM A HUGE BB fan!!
I only just replaced my Xhinese BB1 last year...lol
I was a member of the Crackberry site and the real apple phone that BlackBerry was is truly dead and never coming back. :(

Nice! That was my exact first phone I got as a kid! I looked really hard at the PPS too, but ended up getting the Sig P938 instead.

My husband was/is attached to the P938.
I was against this purchase but being a gun I actually respected his feelings and searched high and low for a Legion version and gave him as a gift.
The gun is now going back to Sig over malfunctions and I got to tell him: I told you to buy an HK...
Anyway, he thought the Sig P938 was a gun that HK could have engineered, somewhat bigger version and HK chose not to.

On that (being HighCaliber's husband) yes I believed for many years, ever since Sig began having so much success with the the P938, that HK was really missing out on this market segment. Regardless that governments weren't requesting it, the apparent usual standard.

There is zero reason HK couldn't have engineered a reliable 9mm of this approximate size and with comparable ergonomics as the P938.

Many years and a whole lot of money in sales later, now HK is trying which is good, but personally it seems very generic and to me not as ergonomic. But for those who like it, very good! Surely it will be more reliable than the Sig.

I was really new to guns back then and there weren't a lot of micro 9s in the 2012/13 market. Walther was the only decent option and I think i even considered a Kahr as well, but they felt really cheap and fragile. Hindsight tells me I should have bought a P2000 over the Glock 23 (which i got rid of later) and waited a few years when the Micro 9 offerings flooded the market.
