So, I would have helped if I had actually disassembled them before posting.
They are metal but black. More detailed pics. The spring is also black.

Ive come in possesion of 4 of these 40 rounders 2 with them hk mp5 8/74 and two with the xxx on the hk mp5 part

I cam across 3 more of these, so ive owned a total of 7 of them! I wonder how rare these are now. I havent seen any wts posts for these, i know keepshooting was selling these at one point
