Anyone had a surplus pack converted to semi lately?

Looking to get a surplus pack converted for a spare in my supply of parts.

Not sure what to expect to pay.

TIA!

9mm

(a G3 pack to semi, add 9mm ejector of course)

After doing some research, I sent it to Bill Springfield.

Reasonable price and hopefully a decent turn around.

(and done right)

Kudos to Bill Springfield for his amazing turn-around on a surplus pack he converted for me.

He received it Monday, I got it back today (Thursday). $45 all in (including return USPS PM shipping).

Are you kidding me? Not only crazy fair pricing, but extremely fast turn around for custom labor.

mmm I have been sitting on a cetme because of the trigger pack! I had no idea it would be that low cost!

Thanks ordered a trigger pack from him.
He has them on his site at $169, which is clearly not updated - From Bill: "...9mm packs run $335 now, surplus trigger packs have gone up 2-3X in price in the last year..."

That's still $10 less than HKparts.

Went to HKparts for the grip screw, ended up with a new sling and foreguard, this HK thing is expensive, lol.

Trigger pack from Bill Springfield arrived today, looks great, drops in nicely.
Will put a few rounds through next range trip.

Thanks for the heads up.

As others have stated, quick turn around, which in gunsmithing is an unknown for me.
I have two semi-Bren .303's from Prasky at over 25 months wait now.

I have read bad reviews about Bill but my past experiences with Bill have always been positive. One time, I sent him a bunch of P30 triggers to have the over-travel stop hole drilled and tapped (to mimic the Match trigger). He called me one day to confirm where I wanted the hole because the screw might not hit the grip wall the same way the stop screw on a true Match trigger would hit. You don't see that level of customer service nowadays.

I am glad you're happy with his service.

I can add two FNX pistols (9 & 45) that Bill completed trigger work on for me to the list. Both pistols have run perfect.

Sorry for the over-due range report - Bill's trigger pack worked great and broke very crisply far better than the PTR trigger.
Thanks for the heads up.
