HK PSG1 "HK T&E ONLY"

Its on my watchlist. Prime candidate for a makeover... Why I never picked one of these up years ago when they were selling brand new for around $5K...

Jeesh, I may have to subscribe to Shotgun News again; they even still around? Was my favorite go-to gun porn magazine before the internet...

Somewhere in my cluttered spare basement bedroom-turned-junk room, I have a big stack of SGN 'porn' just waiting to be rediscovered like a forgotten time capsule. Oh the pain of seeing those Fleming Sears in the classifieds; going for (today's) full tank of gasoline prices... Ugh.

I’ve always been conservative in my estimates of pre-bans (including the 1994 SVDs)KBIs have long been $15-20k rifles, however a few more recent sales point to a higher “value.” I say that cautiously as the occasional bidding war or shill bidder shouldn’t determine concrete values IMO.

Many folks seem to see one or two one-off auctions and figure their example is automatically worth whatever that amount is (ex: the AR-70 that sold for $15k a year ago- I haven’t seen one sell for anything close to that since).

Another example is a nice G series FN that sold for $17,500 at RIA two years back (includes buyers premium- so hammer price was really $12-13k)- yet I’ve seen Gs sit for $10k and $12k on GB several times since.
