POR: Pucker On Request...
I wonder - more emails or calls about the item - will the price go up or go down?
If your selling something and want bidders post on an auction site.
If you want to sell it - then post a price..
Tony,Fishing expedition--- the seller probably asks the first question--- how much are you willing to pay?--- followed by--- I have had offers of $X.
Just let Keystone Arms @Ultra Rare sell it--- you'll know where the market is.
Tony
I called no less than 10 times from the minute it posted till someone answered. After 10 calls I get this old man whom sounds as if death is around the corner telling me he turned down $60K bring him $75k and it was mine. Needless to say I don’t own it!!

I talked to the seller a few days ago when I saw it listed. He is asking $75,000, but said he would take $70,000. He told me that he recently turned down an offer of $65,000 which I find hard to believe. I was very interested in this piece and would have paid up to $12k, but $70,000 is absolutely out of the question. I have a friend that recently purchased a K1A1 serial #002 (prototype HK94 before it was called an HK94) for $30k. At the time $30,000 seemed like quite a bit, but now seems like bargain compared to $70,000.
Someone offering 65K who really wanted it with deep pockets would cough up another 5K. My guess is he is fishing and telling you what the minimum he will take.
Inflation is at an alarming rate. I wonder how much time it will take until his asking price becomes reasonable?
