LoL. Everything other than the tig welder was from my AK building days
That makes sense. Builds mp5s, likely built AK’s. I never realized how easy AR-15s were until I began investigating the true artistry of AK and MP5 building. Putting together an ar-15 is like color by numbers compared to a real painting. The work, talent and experience required to put together a functioning AK or MP5 from parts is really closer to trade work.

I love building stuff. AK was built after I got my tax stamp. I think that was about 10 years ago 😳
Krinks are one of my favorites. Love the stock used there too. Are you worried at all about 5.45x39 ammo availability? I have always wanted a krink or akm/ak105 but since the 5.45 ammo issue came up last year (2021) I put that want to bed.

When I bought that krink kit. It was the most expensive kit I had ever bought and I thought I was crazy. $1000 kit with original barrel, All matching numbers and I don't think it had ever been fired. It is the original stock. Ammo was kinda cheap back then. I have a pretty good stash of it. I honestly don't think I've shot it in 6 years

Shelf welded in and paddle fitted

Maybe I don't fold flats correctly, but I always have to massage them into shape to make everything fit perfect. Here is how I do it. I start with a piece of 20mm round stock them move to a G3 bolt carrier. Crush slowly, check often in the vice

All tacked together. I tack the trunion in then weld the cocking tube first. That way if I mess up I only have to remove 6 tacks to take it apart. I don't think I messed this one up :)
