Considering that the MSRP of an MR556-A1 is $3499.99 I think I did pretty good building an A5 clone for about $3400


I have a full parts list below but the main components are:


STS A5 Lower
  • Haus A5 Upper
  • 14.5” BRN-4 Barrel Modified By Tommybuilt
  • Major Components are authentic HK Parts


The last part of the build was the Bolt Carrier Group which I was able to get from HKParts for $700 shipped

Now I need to concentrate on finishing my 10.4 A5 SBR

The camo pattern is called Bottomland and it's Mossy Oak's original camo pattern

It pretty easy to paint
  1. Spray Black – Apply Sticks
  2. Spray Forrest Green – Apply Blobs
  3. Spray Army Green – Remove Stencils
  4. Light speckle pass of black
  5. Dust with brown
