I miss my W. German Sig P228's and W. German P225's

Had many W. German Sigs - traded all of them when I wanted HK's. The 2 I miss the most are the P228 and P225.

Anyone else have regrets for selling their Sigs (or something else to purchase HK's)?

I never regret selling stuff. However, I liked my real SIG pistols. Last one I bought, was a 220-Combat, when they first came out. Since the bean-counters have taken over, there's not many newer firearms that I like.

This is my second one. Bought the P228 when they first came out, and issued to ATF.
It's my EDC and I love it.

That looks like the older "Port Authority" P7 M8 stamping on the left slide. :unsure:

I am one of the weirdos that prefer the P225 A1 model to the older P225. My work is currently switching from Sig P229's. We are going to looking at Glock 17, Walther PDP, and HK VP9, Sig P320x. Hoping for the VP9. Good news is I can buy my German made P229 with 3 mags and holster for $250 each. Gotta a few fellow deputies that are gonna let me buy theirs too.

I really, really want one, but man prices seem crazy for them. Really tough to find a nice example.

I haven't seen an HK pistol that would make me jump from my German P220.

HKG3's however, are a different animal.

P7M7 would be a no brainer ;)

Had to settle for P7M10, P7M13, P7M8 and P7 PSP..

And this is why you just don't sell or trade guns off. Sooner or later, you will think, well that was dumb to get rid of that....
