Here in Michigan, the next 7 days are going to be dry and temps into the 90's. The front doors I take off every summer, but I have never removed the rear ones. If you own a Jeep, you know what a chore it was to get them off. The 2x4 pry bar method wasn't going to cut it - I had to dust off the floor jack to break them free.

I bought a new YJ on my 18th birthday and sold it on my 40th birthday. Pretty fun days, all my friends had one also.
And you probably made money on it too. Great summer vehicles. Hopefully the competition of the new Bronco will force some innovation and better quality. As much as I love it - it’s a piece of you know what ……… but it’s a Jeep ✌️

Apologies guys, my only Jeep experience was as a Navy Officer assigned to a USMC infantry battalion as their Naval Gunfire Officer.

I used a MRC-83 Jeep, which was HF 1000 Watt radio that filled the back seat in a M38A1. Just enough room for me, a driver and the trash we hauled. Everybody else fit into a M151 and trailer with the rest of the shit we were supposed to carry before my team Sergeant “lightened the load”.

I don’t miss ‘em. Fixed the rear dif on the day of deployment in our staging parking lot with my driver, a set of jack stands and the rear end from one we went to the motor pool and retrieved at 5:30 in the morning. Left a note on the windshield with our thanks. 🥷
