Hi everyone,

I feel like I’ve done this exact post earlier this week in the other place….. Anyway another forum member pointed me here and said I should stay a while.

I’m currently at a point in my life where I can make some of my childhood dreams come true. I’m looking to grow my HK collection. A collection I plan to shoot. For me it all started with the MP5 seeing DieHard as a kid. Of course being a child growing up in the 90’s I had more than my fair share of exposure to the Mark 23 (metal gear solid) and the USP (counter-strike).

Around 2009 or so I finally got the chance to purchase a USP tactical .45 that came with the grey soft case and from the first mag I knew I was in trouble. Having shot my other friends hand guns I was the most pleased with mine and saw a few raised eyebrows when they had a turn on the USP as well. From that point forward I knew I was hooked. Over time I was able to finally get myself a knights suppressor to finally fill out that strange long magazine accessory pouch that comes with the soft cases lol.

Recently I was lucky enough to pick up another USP tactical in as close to brand new condition as I’ve ever seen, a new production Mark 23 (which has just been sold to fund a KH maritime Mark23), and a OD Green USP. To say that I’ve been bitten by the HK bug would be an understatement. Some people work to live, it’s starting to feel like I work to buy more HKs.

Future plans: 9mm USP compact, hk45ct (they are so cheap now) USP CT, Mark 23 lam (insight or Wilcox). If anyone has a line on a USP CT or a Mark 23 lam please let me know.

@Runningmancs Welcome. My first was a USP Tactical 45 too. That OD green USP is bad ass.
Thanks man. Sadly it didn’t come with all of the bells and whistles as it should have. But considering how rare they are and how now especially it seems no one is selling any special HK items I had to jump on it.

Very nice collection! 👍
Thanks Ultra, it’s recently grown on the HK side pretty quickly. Hoping to keep the momentum. When I bought the CB new production Mark 23 I had written off ever getting a maritime finish unit thinking they had already landed in collectors hands and were filed away in deep safes. Then a 96-97 NOS camo soft case came up for sale, and then later a beautiful KH Maritime. So now I’m chasing a Mark23 KAC suppressor piston and the various unobtainium Mark 23 lam sets. Who knows, maybe in due time I guess.

That’s a good question, right now I’m not exactly picky as there isn’t enough available to be picky. I’d prefer as close to what was mil issued as possible. Lam 1400 I believe, but I’m no stick in the mud and could go 1450 as well. Hell, if you magically find another Wilcox hiding in the back I’ll sacrifice my first born for it. Sickboy got a beautiful set. He was kind enough to share a picture with me of it. I was blown away. I wish there was more of these accessories floating around.

I was under the impression PEQ-14’s were all 1913 mounting. I’m not fully educated on the different lam units as I was only aware of the 1000-1450 having the proper fitting and center screw for the frame.

I believe you would want the LAM 1400 I am sure you can find one. But... I know of a collector that has one of each. o_O

I have the adapters for the 1000--- the 1400 and 1450 mount directly. :)
