Friends and members...... (insert HEAR YE, HEAR YE)

Did a 'accounting' of my ammo stores recently and decided I have more .38+P than I can shoot in TWO Lifetimes through a wheel gun. Realizing the "hole" in my collection, i've decided that if the excrement hits the oscillating/cooling device the aforementioned cowboy gun would be an EXCELLENT WAY to "go loud" and send some love toward the perimeter at the Revenuers trying to take mah moonshine. If anyone knows or hears about one, i'm looking for a NEW or good used 10+1, .357 capable, side loader (preferably drilled for a scope) in blued or stainless. G.B. prices are ASTRONOMICAL right now.

Thanks in advance.

My FFL has the All Weather Henry for $969.00. He said he'd knock 20 bucks off, so $949.00. That's well under retail, and looking at GB....I'd say they're all going for over a grand. It's built like a tank, and has all your prerequisites. There are lesser rifles out there, but this is a beauty. Hard-chrome and synthetic coated stocks.

Thank God, I won't start another caliber or platform. It's really nice. It's also good, that he goes thru weapons and ammo as fast as it comes in. Keeps me "in line". LOL

HOLY SMOKES.....I'M SUPER INTERESTED !!!! P.M. PLEASE !!!

I just found this thread. I'm starting to think about the Henry Big Boy Steel. It would make a perfect mate for my Python and Charter Arms Southpaw. Let me know how this turns out.

The Henry big boy is the way to go! My Henry .22 lever action is without a doubt my favorite non semi auto rifle. The lever action is smooth and crisp.

And there are several barrel lengths.

16 inch, 20 inch and 24 inch...

Also consider the GOLDEN BOY OR THE BIG BOY in 38/357 - the longer the barrel, the more rounds it will hold

plus the longer the barrel, the less recoil you feel in the 38/357

You can also look at ROSSI and PUMA

No Rossi or PUMA for me. Got the BIG BOY .357, but haven't shot it yet. It is the 10+1 and my sole motivation was an "excess" of .38 SPL +P.

So you know if 'untrained' personnel in the compound have to man a window.....

I ALSO picked up a really nice SKINNER SIGHTS 1x6 for it with a illum. red dot in the crosshairs.

Very nice... the rifle and the sights!!!
so I’m guessing you dont need the MR762 anymore right?

That was a great shootout scene. Even before the shooting. VERY intense.

I saw the movie last year, but I guess it didn't register as I wasn't into the LEVER yet. Sounds like a GREAT reason to re-watch. I actually like Jeremy Renner. He was a cocky shit in THE HURT LOCKER, but a good actor. I also like KELSEY CHOW, now of YELLOWSTONE fame....
