As all of you know, we rarely (and I mean rarely) do not allow a member to participate. :)
Only justifiable reasons would prompt this--- in our opinion, this member has crossed the line. :unsure:
Reasons: ;)

1. Belittling our site while posting on our site;
2. Numerous members outraged that he is allowed to be a member and post here;
3. Threatening to ban a member here (over there) for liking a comment that was not favorable to the other site;
4. Posting a "TEST" to see if he was banned, and then deleting it;
5. Our opinion that he is deliberately attempting to get banned, and to post about it, in an effort to turn our members to the other site, or to get others on the other site to not want to join here.

Everyone is welcome to comment--- there will be no bans for this--- as you are allowed to speak here and without retribution, unlike the other site. :giggle:
Try posting this on the other site, should this topic arise over there--- you will likely be banned instantaneously. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Tom can call me anytime to discuss this, if he desires to do so. :)

I was responding to @overkill8000 and stating the obvious to Tom.

Tom @HKPRO , I got banned for saying “I‘m amazed the other mount fits a T1 and a T2.” I was told I earned that ban by Jeff in a DM… you were on it as well. This is all after Phillipe (EliteUSA) questioned my Air Force Creds, AND spoke about my “mother’! I reported it and the posts were deleted. NOTHING ELSE!
Then came the thread that got me banned… ALBIET temporarily.
So, no disrespect…. But yes… @overkill8000 and myself can get banned for asking questions.
If I am bitter, its because I was abused by a vendor and then to further rub salt into the wound, abused by site management… and told I deserved that ban!
HKPROSHOP has changed tremendously since I joined.
When I first joined, I was befriended by Tony @AGG who walked me thru my first purchase on a MARK23. He made sure I knew what I was buying and what I should be paying for it. He talked me out of purchases because it wasnt right for what I was doing. I joked around and called him my voice of reasoning.
When he was “banned” and yes it was a full blown ban, I spoke up for him and was warned…. I stated his wealth of knowledge and Jeff said it would be replaced… that it was the nature of the internet.
@Brobus walked me thru my first P7PSP purchase… amazing gentleman!
@Lamont has taken the time to chat with me when the loss of fallen comrades just gets a bit overbearing! Great guy in any forum.
The list goes on and on of great guys that are on PROSHOP and PRO, but not to put words in anybody’s mount, the quality of posts has declined substantially. You once scolded me in a real nice way, to not comment on wts thread, You said you appreciated my enthusiasm! Look at the WTS ads and see all the comments… whats good for the goose is NOT good for the Gander?
Now we have a change in Paid membership…. $5.00 bucks a month or like 50.00 a year. No more premium membership. I reached out to you about it when I saw a “New” paid member with 4 WTS post all over $7k. He still has one thats at $10k, with like 3 of them sold…. No ill take it on the tread.
Maybe he is a scammer maybe not.
Now we have a thread closed because it might devolve? Whats next?
Im not knocking you at all, infact, I have a lot of respect for you, and I know I can reach out to you on PRO or simply text you, but brother,
Im disappointed in what is happening on PRO, and I fully expect to get a permanent Ban… which im good with. Im a grown man and feel that Im well respected on PRO AND PROSHOP!
I pray that I have not offended anyone in either forum.

ANYONE questioning a members stated military background better have one themselves. If they don't and they believe there is something amiss, they need to talk to a staff member for review. This is not an accusation you make without proof, especially if you never served yourself. Be advised that if that conversation happened in a group of vets and you were wrong, the offended party is going be allowed to wear you out a little bit before anyone else steps in to stop that. Same with telling stories about a background you don't have.

We have our eye on guys who are commercial but trying to fly under the radar. They come over here because it cheaper to try here. Anything we were to do rules wise would affect everyone, so we just weed them out as needed. It's our site, there's no pretense otherwise.

"You expect?" ANYONE who speaks up on Pro gets banned. If they will do it to a guy who has 25,000 posts and is a valuable member of the board, you think they care about you? Not at all.

Agreed. One should have proof before making a stolen valor claim. I wasnt upset about that though… what upset me was the remark about my mother and then being told I earned a ban by Jeff. That didnt sit well with me.
Sir, this is an amazing site filled with good people! I like being here And plan on staying a very long long time.

This was originally a response to a member on a PM, but there's some stuff I said here that relates to this thread and the one that was closed.

Appreciate the kind words, but bear in mind, all we are doing is exactly what we said we would do when we started this. I'm not really sure what all these little attempts to co-opt us were about (other than exactly that of course) because there was NFW we were ever going to allow "group buys" or any of the other shit that goes on over there to infect this site. That guy who was all fucking butt hurt about us not allowing him to be Marc Wagner v2.0 didn't even have an Importers license to bring in the guns he didn't own. Typical Pro trash BS. I go to SHOT last year (2022, not this year) and who should I see hanging out with SB at his booth? The same guy with an 08 who was gonna be the Importer for this guy. Right. You really just can't go wrong having absolutely nothing to do with those folks.

So a couple months ago, I am talking to my exporter in Italy.....and he says something about exporting some Glocks that were factory made for the Italian market in 9x21 to someone here in the States. I saw those for sale here of course, so right away I said, "Oh, I know who you are talking about"....... turns out that guy burned his bridge with him. Gun dealers in Europe work a lot harder than we do to make a living, being a cheap fuck and trying to get this guy in Italy to pay for all the shipping of your guns to the States after he does all the paperwork for your exports........."No more exports for you". Me, I got 3x super rare P38K in 7.65mm coming from him that he found for me, among other rare items. Take care of people and they, with rare exceptions that you deal with on a case by case basis, will do this for you also. "Pro Quid Pro makes the world go 'round", as someone once said. Fuck them over and your emails will go unanswered when you try to get them to volunteer for round two, AND they will tell everyone you suck.

HKPro was (is) diseased, and the cure's for the various aspects of this that core members were suggesting were not being implemented. Have not been implemented since we left.

The only people we've gotten rid of on our site is them or their acolytes. Tony would have a much better idea of exactly how many people we've banned, but I'd be surprised if it's ever reached double digits in the entire time the site has been active. I'll bet those guys ban 10 a month. We don't have to. Why is that?

We believe our actions demonstrate our words. You don't have to totally leave Pro to send the message that you don't approve of them. You can sign out and continue to read the site. Believe me, VS will know when there's a thousand or three members sign out and never sign back in.

You are part of the solution, or you are part of the problem. We have no fear of our membership's judgement on that score.

glad I found this new Hk forum!! Was banned from Hkpro about 2 years ago for exposing a vendor’s scummy practice with a sale, then got banned from there. Screw HKPro!

Imagine if Pro was a country, what it would be like to live there. The former DDR maybe.

Listen, I'll be the first to admit that "it's our site". We've never pretended that this was all set up for everyone to be able to just do whatever they want here, quite the contrary. LOL. FAFO. But we're about free speech to a point, and a lot of problems come up when you put money and humans in the same room. Greed is well known to most as one of the seven deadly sins, and the desire for gain, the need to make a living must be balanced with responsibility to the situation and circumstances, and the other people involved. Without balance, can you even stand up and walk? No, you fall over. Yeah, it's an analogy. The moment you introduce money into a situation, you better have some scruples or it's gonna go off the rails. That will not change until we find a cure for human nature other than removing the problem permanently, which is really no solution either.

Once upon a time, there was a man. He decided to build an all American made HK23E. To the surpise of many he was able to pull it off, actually an amazing bit of work it you think about it, one man attempting to match what H&K does with many. It's not that the guns don't run, they do, witness YouTube. BUT there was the occasional exception. This man had (has?) a Supporting Vendor thread on Pro.

Back in the 2015-2016 period after I left Contracting, I imported some HK23E and HK21E parts sets minus bolt/barrel. In the process of selling these, I dealt with "the big three" of H&K builds, usually in the vein of shipping a customers parts to them for a build. In this way I became aware of the "gun that wouldn't run". This 23E was returned to it's builder multiple times for functionality issues which were never resolved and eventually the builder washed his hands of the situation. The gun then went to another of these 3 builders to attempt to diagnose and repair whatever the issues were. Here's what happened. All German parts were installed on the receiver. The gun ran. All the American parts were then installed on a German receiver, and again the gun won't run.

So, here's the thing. If you were that guy, and you are building these things anyway, take back the Turkey and give the guy a gun that runs. But that wasn't what happened. What happened was that, due to that Supporting Vendor editing his thread, which they are allowed to do ("pay for play") every mention of this issue on Pro was deleted. That's BS. It's dishonest and frankly, un-American. Whenever I sold this guy parts, he always wanted me to ship them out right away, payment would be in the mail. "Right". I already know you have had issues with people in the past and I'm going to send you parts sets and hope you pay me. Not. If you don't want to be thought of as untrustworthy, stop doing shit that makes people's spidey-senses tingle. If you don't care or are just clueless about that stuff, then drive on. It may not sound like it, but I actually have a lot of respect for him being able to do what he did. No one else has been able to. But there is also the saying that "much good work is lost for want of a little more".

Same deal with Marc Wagner. These people had their heads in the freaking sand over that guy, nobody wanted to know. "The feedback forum is the mechanism for dealing with complaints". Jeff's exact words to me. Just coincidentally they are in the process of selling Pro to VerticalScope at that time. 9 FUCKING MONTHS after I corner SG at SHOT and lay it all out for him, they finally ban him. How much money did he steal from the membership in that extra 9 months of grace he got, when any fool could look at what he said, and what I said, and EASILY know the truth when they heard it. His excuses were so obviously BS if you just thought about it for a second. "BAFA has a lot of their people helping out with the refugee crisis", this would be like sending clerical staff from ATF over to State to help process passport applications. No. "I prevailed in court, here's the proof", and posted a picture of a court document. Unfortunately for him, my wife is German. It was just a receipt from the Court Clerk for fee's paid to the court. (Got a couple of those myself, difference between him and me is, I actually did win.) Told SG that too. ALL the available evidence indicated deception. "Feedback". LOL, yeah right, fuck that. When he was eventually dragged into court, it was due to the membership, and no one else. Just so everyone knows, I still have the bulk of that thread (which was of course deleted) saved as a series of screenshots. It's pretty pathetic. "How do you know all this, if you're really an 08/SOT post a copy of your license". Yeah, how about "fuck you". Like I fucking dance to your tune. "It's OK Marc, we love you, we trust you, we're aren't listening to that bad Lamont guy and what he says about you". Which translates to "please fuck me last".

But, that's the kind of thing that happens when no one is doing the right thing and has their hand out. Way out. Hence our decision at the inception of ProShop NOT to allow any of that shit. No pay for play. That is not what we are here for. No BS. That is not what we are here for. Personally I have found the squawking of all these types who realized they won't be using our site for their BS to be music to my ears. We can't do anything about the past on Pro, but we can sure as God made little green apples do something about the present and the future here on ProShop. "Wir vergessen nie".
 
Yes, that was a total fiasco. Unfortunately it was repeated in different forms, one that comes to mind was the EliteUSA guy… who happens to be in jail for other unrelated charges.
Guy lied as a member, went off at the drop of a hat… and then became the cats meow when he became a supporting vendor.
Could not say a dang thing about him without getting a warning or a ban. Total Fiasco.
Once again members are left holding the bag… not me… I saw through it quickly, but was ignored at every turn when I voiced my opinion.

I remember Marc Wagner, MDW Guns. I was not a member overthere yet and was just a lurker. I remember wanting a P8 really bad and reached out to @AGG who told me… you have a 50-50 chance of getting your gun! 🤣

No worries on that, the past is truly only useful to guide the present and the future. Move on but never forget, right? When they say "Move on" they mean "Forget what I did". Tom says I spend my life thinking about them at Pro, but that is incorrect, "only when it comes up". They on the other hand seem to spend a lot of time on us. "Turn that light off", LOL.

He was involved very briefly with someone else as a front, supplying such wares as he managed to import, which ended quickly when they were made aware of his history. Who wants to be associated with that. Thereafter he surfaced on Guns America. Haven't heard of him in a while, doubtless a good thing, it would be like desiring an update on the clap. He's a thief, period, and if he doesn't like me saying so he's free to find a lawyer or show up on my doorstep, whichever pleases him the most. I hate people like that. It bothers me greatly that they can continue their BS without proper and effective chastisement. It doesn't matter to me who does it or how as long as it gets done.
