I ordered a MR556 in tropentarn, today. Can't afford all 4, so one of each..in both calibers.

I'm impressed by the quality cases these come in.

Excellent acquisition--- I would not shoot it--- put it away and forget about it. ;)

I'm not leaving my stuff to anyone, and I'm old enough that I don't care about collecting. More about shooting cool stuff. I remember busting the cherries on pre-ban SIGs. It was fun. Nobody shoots the rare stuff, and I let everyone shoot rifles that they'd never see...let alone shoot. It was worth the price of admission.
I don't collect anything, anymore. I'm sorry that I collected so many things, for others to enjoy. It's like the analogy of never having sex with your super-model wife, so the next guy can/will.

Took out one my Phoenix Fusion pistols for the 2nd time, today. This is an amazing pistol. I was rapid firing at about 12 yards today, and stringing shots from the eyebrows to the mouth of my bad-guy target.
It's SO smooth.

Went shooting again, today. Took a recent acquisition. Custom built AR10, with US Optics scope. It was assembled with a bunch of good parts.
I bought it as a pig-in-a-poke, for cheap...and I figured there may be an issue or two.
I was correct in my assumption. The optic works perfectly, it's very accurate....but, it's failing to extract and trying to double-stack rounds from a brand new Magpul mag. All the handguard
screws were loose [one missing], and the scope was adjusted for long-range targets. I managed to get it shooting well, though functioning more like a bolt-action.
I'm gonna start with a new extractor, recoil spring, and new gas tube. It appears to have a gas leak at the gas-block.

I could put quite a bit of money into it, and couldn't get hurt, dollar-wise. The spray-paint finish, has a battle-used feel to it. There's some wear to it visually.
This picture must have been fresh-paint.
