Although I have built one other Cetme previously, it was more of a hybrid 51. This one is my first full size rifle and was built from a complete C Model parts kit less the receiver and barrel. I had a German made 91 barrel I got back in 2000 from a $175.00 G3 kit. I picked up a Hesse H91 receiver to build the kit on. I had to grind down the HK rear sight windage screw block on the rear sight base51A82AEB-591E-4B02-B187-6F7F914926A8.jpeg

to be able to weld the Cetme sight onto.

This is how it looked when it started it's life;

Excellent work. 😃

Glad you found the one Hesse receiver true enough to use.

Looks good.

Ha! It took a little tweaking to get it to function properly. Most of the tweaking was the magazine release. The rest seemed to fit up pretty good. It was the second Hesse receiver I have used in my builds. The first one functioned perfectly with no tweaking needed.
