Was just informed of this forum by another member on another less friendly forum, hoping for a better experience over here!

I have been collecting for decades, and really like the classic and semi-modern HK models. Expecially fond of the P7 series!

This really is the island of misfit toys. We won't whack threads when you ask 'is this real German HK or a knock off'. We won't chastise anybody for miss-spelling Benelli. And there won't be a situation where we have to run interference for a vendor just because they pay us money. Oh, and the mods are pretty humble.

We started this site for exactly the reasons you came here. Ender's remarks are gospel. Welcome.
 
Just a quick note to appreciate German engineering and precision.

I took my 40-year old 91 to the range to sight in the handsome Steiner 4X (Thanks again, Tony!). One shot at 300m, it placed just outside the X ring. One click to the left, it was zeroed.

Soft warm fuzzies there.
