Greetings from the lovely Sierra Nevada mountains. I found this forum by searching for a 357 Sig barrel for an HK USP 40. I did not know that they were only made for the compact model. I very much enjoy my HK's. They shoot and shoot and shoot. A couple USP 40's, a USP 45, an HK 45, and an HK Tactical 45. In addition, I enjoy Benelli shotguns, and one of the Benelli's I purchased was imported by HK. So, I have an HK Benelli M1 Super 90. I like everything HK, and hope to purchase several more firearms as finances allow not that I am retired. I recently had an opportunity to purchase a USP 357 Sig Compact that was a very lightly shot police chief's sidearm. However, I waited until the next day, and somebody else bought it from a little local shop. I look forward to learning from the HK experts who post herein.

The best thing I ever did to not miss out on guns in the shop was, I convinced my wife, we should have separate credit cards so we could track our own expenditures more easily.
Keep in mind this only works when you are newly married. at least AFAIK. I suspect if you try it more than a few months in it wont work out well at all.
 
What about when the wife is the one more prone to "Hk expenditures"?
How would you handle it?

Where he got really lucky is that I was raised in a country where guns where only for criminals and police, then moved to a country where even the police didn't carry guns so I was COMPLETELY and I mean COMPLETELY brainwashed against guns.
I was so afraid that when we married and I moved to America he asked me if I wanted to see a rifle in a store and I said NO, because I was afraid of even being in the presence of firearms.
Isn't that crazy?

Yes, I will definitely end up with any HK I want unless I got ridiculous, though the "unless" is a guess.
