Oaks, PA Gun Show

I looked a little and didn't see a place to post gun shows but if this can go elsewhere, I won't be butthurt over it.

Anyway, the big Philly gun show is on this weekend and I'll trudge down to check it out. I haven't bought anything in quite a while because 1) I really don't need anything and 2) prices have been too high. I usually go though, as ya never know what might reach out and call your name at such events. One of my buddies is reporting $.30/round 5.56 ammo. I don't need any but seeing prices come down is good. I am in need of more fiddy cal ammo cans but $15/ea is out of the question. Hoping for better pricing on those.

It was a mob scene, even at 1330. People were circling looking for parking spots so I hightailed it outta there. I'll go again tomorrow and see what it's like.

Gun show was good. Lots of inventory, plenty of most calibers of ammo but it's all still expensive. 5.56 and 9mm are inching downwards in price though so there's that. Very few primers and they're still $125 and up. Powder is $40 or $50 with the guy selling it (trying to sell it) at $50 didn't have any customers.

Oh, and one nitwit got a standing ovation as the police gave him the perp walk out the door. Speculation is it was for theft.
