That reminds me of the 1911 with the wooden stock.

The vp70m with stock was interesting. 2 round burst would have been better than 3. Third round almost always 12-18" from other 2. Trigger pull was better than a Nagant revolver, 🤣 but it worked every time and few moving parts.

Ive never seem woodsman with stock either but it would be intresting to try it

It's been ~40 years since I shot one. I would like to shoot one again.

The semis used to be relatively cheap and like you I can live with trigger pull. Key words are, used to be.

Agreed... used to be. Unlike you, I was never fortunate enough to fire a VP70m... I wish I could find one to shoot but alas... I dont see it happening!
But its all good, I shot some great weapons while i was in the Air Force... good times brother!

There were several versions of this. I only have the manual and never shot one.

Edit. Old pic not in focus.

I wish I had the gyrojet brochures. The gentleman who gave me this said he has them somewhere. I've never met anyone who did not want to shoot a gyrojet(or shoot one again) even though they did not work very well.

I thought I might one day find a gyrojet speargun but later read that only 2 or 3 were made. 🤷 Maybe a build is in order.
