An NIS gun came up for sale that did not have military manual with it. I dug old one out to send a pic. I thought there was another mil manual and found it.

I like that ad. When I was a kid at my grandparents for the summer, I’d take my bike, ride to the Sears catalog store and buy a box of .410 #9 shot, and a box of .22LR. A buddy of mine had an old Stevens .22/.410 over/under single shot and we’d ride out to the dump and shoot bottles and rats.

Throw the bottle in the air, 5 points for a .22 hit, 1 point for the .410.
Shoot a rat, 1 point for the .22, -5 points for the .410

Loser bought the chocolate phosphates at the drug store.
