P30 SK slide lock rattle.

the slide lock/release on the right side of my P30SK started to "rattle"... is this a common problem with this particular pistol? Anyone else encounter this? If so, what was your solution... or do you just ignore it.? Great little pistol, but I can't believe HK hasn't developed a solution, if it is a common problem - Well, I removed the lever and used the fuzzy side of velcro tape, putting a very thin strip under it. This has eliminated the loose fit, although it is not a permanent fix, it was cheap and worked for me.
 
Yep, not a new problem. I’ve seen everything from felt to tape solutions. I just ignore it personally.

Thanks, I just bought this little pistol back in the spring, and have enjoyed shooting it, but I'm a little "ocd", and a rattle - on anything- bugs me. I thought it was a perhaps a defect, because after a decade of loving my USP, it is still as tight as a drum.
 
I would try a small heat shrink tubing. Did that on my carry P2000SK and no more rattles.

Hey I like that solution...when my velcro tape comes off, (which it will eventually) I will give that try. I just had it apart today putting a LEM hammer in it, my fingers are sore!
