P7M13 for discussion

Greetings to all,

Im being offered this 13 but a few things jumped out at me and I wanted to throw up for discussion.

1. the first thing is that it looks like it was reblued/resurfaced since the right side the engravings look really thin

2. The next one is that it looks like someone painted the barrel.. which should be bare metal....right.. At least it is on my other P7 PSP.

3. I noticed that one of the four mags has a extra "hole" on side.. Any idea why?

If this was super cheap, I just jump on it.. but it is NOT.. HA

Per the serial number it was made in 88/89... right?

1. Markings for an IK should look like this:



2. Stainless barrel (unpainted).
3. I believe that the "extra hole" was the design on IB (1981) magazines and before; IC (1982) and after was "no hole"; the correct magazines for this serial number would be IJ (1989).

- IK (1989) on the pistol; IJ (1989) on the magazine (J used for K on parts (e.g., magazines)

HARD PASS (who knows what else was done), if above $2,500.00 (maybe $3,000.00, with the magazines).

Do you agree that the slide looks redone due to the buffed down look in the stamps?

Possible refinish--- may have been overspray on the barrel.
