P8 A1.......Now with German Shoulder Holster!

Yet another pistol that I haven't had a chance to get out and enjoy; added to my collection of dust collectors (for now).
For Tony...The SerNo. has been slightly altered a digit or two.

Well......now I own one as well. Paid $675 which I think was a good price. It has both magazines, hard case, and paperwork. I get to pick it up on Monday. This one was imported by "The Attic".

Anyone know what these were retailing for when they were imported?

Picked it up today and got it home. Oregon "Instant Check" is a joke. Fortunately, many independent dealers now honor the three-day release allowed by law instead of waiting for the state to get around to running the background check.

Interesting pistol. Essentially a USP except that with the safety "up" is the fire position and down is the "safe" position and de-cocker. I haven't found a solid source indicating just how many were imported. Bud's Gun Shop claims 500 but I don't think that number is accurate since it looks like there may have been multiple waves of imports by various importers.

This one was imported by "The Attic Imports" out of Minot, North Dakota. I appreciate the minimal import marks they chose to use.20240701_200347.jpg20240701_200406.jpg

Excellent acquisition. ;)

Well, as of this morning, it has an accessory holster to go with it!! A genuine German Luftwaffe shoulder holster designed for the P8-A1.

Definitely not a quick draw type holster. The pistol is fully secured inside the holster by both Velcro and a button snap.
