POLL - What's your preference - light or dark?

No - not turkey meat.

The site was originally developed with the light mode in mind, but after adding and working with the dark mode - it did seem easier to look at. So dark mode was made the default.

And maybe it's just because the current header pics are of a darker nature?

For those of you who haven't noticed - there is a light bulb in the menu that will toggle the site to light mode.

I like and prefer the Dark mode, however i have seen on another site, certain fonts and text color, especially the dark text color are almost invisible unless you magnify it or switch to light mode.
For me the Dark mode is easier on my eyes... yes these ‘old’ eyes!
but then again... the Dark Side is always a little more fun!

Personally......I like the "light mode".

I'm trying to stay away from the "dark side"

Me too. But, I'll bet the darker screen is easier on the eyes for extended viewing times.

Dark mode for sure. Grey was a good choice - "true black" dark modes have too much contrast.

Personally I like dark meat.

However , my home screen on my device background is "Black"

(dark) ,
so The Black letters "HK" are invisible on my screen. Makes it hard to log on the site...
My suggestion would be out line the "HK"in red or White.
And NO I'm not changing to white even if your offer gravy!

Once you go dark you won't go back. Saves the battery on the phone a bit
