HK 91A2 Information:
Pre Ban Heckler & Koch HK 91A2 .308 Semi-Auto Rifle.

Original owner, purchased new in 06/12/79 low round count (100rd-200rd) range.
Kept in mint condition .308 snake cleaned, property lubricated, muzzle capped in dust free safe.
Periodically checked and maintained during my "Man Cave Years" of "ooohing & aaahing" pistol/rifle handling sessions.
Purchased new HK 91A2 in 06/12/79 as a "big brother".308 to accompany it's "little brother HK 93A3 .223 rifle.
Seldom if hardly used HK91A2, became another Safe Queen rifle over the years.
Purchased a new nice Schmidt and Bender 6x42 Biebertal Wetzlar West Germany scope, and a
SchuBrichtung German Claw Mount. Unfortunatly for me, I never had the range time to use it.
Mounted scope for presentations at Gun shows only for displays.Very mini minor finish loss on scope mounts area.
Note: pictures of scope mount on the rifle, claw mount lock lever not in locked position. I carefully had scope on rifle
this way for pictures and to avoid any additional marring marks on rifle.
Markings: The right side of the mag well is marked, “Made in Germany / excl for SACO Arl. Va. 22 201 Kal. .308
The left side of the mag well is marked, HK91 A016788 Nitro Eagle proof, HK Date Code, and a Ulm Antler proof.
The left and right side of the safety selector is marked, S and F.
The underside of the charging handle is marked, 8/3/78.
Barrel Length: 18 inches with birdcage flash hider. Barrel marking HJKX, Nitro Eagle proof.
Internals very clean date codes CM markings on bolt head, P Nitro Eagle proof, HJ on bolt carrier.
The forend stock is pristine, No markings on stock. Cocking lever markings 8/3/78, rear stock marking 1HJ.
Overall Condition, this rifle retains about 99.5% of original finish. The markings are clear.
Some very light scratches on the magazine well. Furniture is all in excellent condition. No wear in stock rails.
Sights: The front sight is a hooded post. The rear sight is an adjustable diopter drum marked 2 3 4.
Bright bore w/strong rifling, fire control mechanism functions correctly when cycled by hand.
Overall, rifle rates are about fine to Excellent condition.
Comes with 1-5rd steel magazine (7.62x51 IG) 1-20rd aluminum magazine.
Optic,Schmidt and Bender 6x42 Biebertal Wetzlar West germany scope with SchuBrichtung German Claw Mount.
Schmidt and Bender manual and optics specs brochure.
HK Steel Bipod, HK German Factory Standard Green Sling with hook & HK German Leather sling with hook,
