After reading this article, I'm calling self defense. What say you?

I agree. That mealy mouthed "law professor" and the worthless stain of a police chief are both trying to mis-characterize this as "use of deadly force to recover stolen property". More correctly, he THREATENED the use of deadly force, had called police, and was waiting on them to show up. The perp was the one who drew his weapon and opened fire. The truck owner responded. That is called self defense.

Reminds me of Mike Pence, who continually states that he didn't have the power to overturn the election when that is not what he was asked to do, he was asked to return the Arizona results to the state to be certified. If certified, "rock on". If not.....not.

The cops "threaten" use of deadly force every time their gun leaves the holster.

"Play stupid games, win stupid prizes". Goes for the wounded female as well.
