Hey All

I wanted to touch base with the end all be all, and most knowledgeable HK peeps in the world for some info.

On the HK SP5K PDW.....can you simply plug in your pack and go? Or do modifications have to happen
before you can do full auto? I'm asking now, before I dive in, and buy one....like the SP5 that has that
stupid notch

Thank you in advance!!!!
Cheers!!!!!!
Merry Christmas!!!!!!

Brad, Im like you I dont really know, but I though the SP5K had that F/A block or notch or something like that that had to be ground down so the bolt would go f/a.
Hopefully if im wrong, someone will correct me right away. I remember MI heals Machine was taking that f/a block off when he was remarking them.
Take care bro.
M.

It has the same nub at the top of the rear of the receiver inset under the rear sight as the SP5-K, so you have a few options:

1) have a HK smith like RDTS weld up the trip on you existing SA K/PDW carrier
2) lightly modify/mill the top of an existing FA carrier with a flat end mill to clear the nub
3) buy a RCM drop-in FA carrier that was manufactured by them as a drop-in for guys with packs.

I DO NOT in any way recommend modifying or removing the FA block/nub

Thanks!!! Thats what I was trying to remember. Perfect answer and I fully understand NOT removing FA bock/nub.

@Brad4065 @Guyanaman1963 one more thing, The SA receiver shelf on the SP5, SP5K, and PDW is not the same as the old legacy SA receiver shelf found on the 91, 93, sp89, and hk94 so you will most likely also need a new grip frame cut for the shelf spec found on the SP5 and SP5K.
Thank you sir!!!!!

That's what I was seeking!!!!!

Cheers and Merry Christmas!!!!!!!
