Removing factory MR762A1 flash hider

What is the best method to remove the flash hider? Did HK put Rocksett on the threads? Should I buy the MI reaction rod? This is for one of the earliest production rifles - M15x1 thread pattern.

From what I’ve seen, HK typically uses a strong thread locker on those, often similar to Rocksett, so a little heat and patience usually goes a long way. A proper reaction rod or solid barrel support is definitely worth it to avoid stressing the receiver.
