Restricted Mag Markings

Not many of these ever show up on the marketboards. Bought the 25-rnd mag at Cheaper Than Dirt in Ft Worth back around 2002 for $55; kind of pricy back then. I sold the 25-rnd mag on GB several years ago, but still have the 30-rounder displayed on a shelf in the man cave.

I've had this 30-RND, steel, LEO HK-93 mag for years, but just noticed what's stamped on it. It's stamped (not printed) on the upper right-side portion, that fits into the mag-well:
RESTRICTED LAW ENFORCEMENT
GOVERNMENT USE ONLY 1996

Heckler & Koch UK

Made in England

Heckler & Koch Inc

Sterling VA

On the lower left-side portion, of the mag, is stamped:
5.56 x 45 n (Is that n for NATO?)

The plastic follower is stamped: id (for 1983)

I've seen plenty of HK LEO mags with 1994 stamps. I've never heard of H&K Made in England. Is this thing rare? Is it worth any more than a German made LEO mag?

Well, that's pretty cool. I had no idea there were any HK rifles made in England. What do you think that UK Mag is worth?

Probably 100+ bucks. Somebody will want to store it in their collection. I know that Brit-kit will be built and shot. I was going to, but wouldn't destroy a mint 93 to build it. All the used-up ones are still 2K+. It didn't make any sense for me, and I've become a shooter, and selling "collectibles". I've got a couple mint 93's, 91's, a SR9, MM11, and a 94 that will be leaving my safes, relatively soon. They really serve no purpose for me, anymore. I'll probably end-up keeping a dozen total rifles, or so.... a couple sentimental, and the rest shooters.

If that UK LEO Mag isn't worth that much more than a German LEO Mag, I'll just keep it. AFAIK, I just have one of them.

Yeah, unless you have a Brit gun, I don't see it being worth much more than any other odd 5.56 mag. I've got a couple of new camo-mags that'll I be selling very soon.
