I heard about someone with the other S&W Bodyguard, the .38 snubby stuffed in there back when I was working Corrections in the mid-80's. I believe it was a female who had it "up front", but I'm not sure, that was a while back.

Usually when a pistol was recovered it was something much smaller. I only remember two other cases of this, in all three it was someone trying to get the gun into the Prison, not walking/riding around on the street with it already in place. It almost sounds like it was only partially inserted. "Sailing 'round the Horn", as it were.

Imagine what the draw stroke looked like, step by step.... :shudder:
