So I took my C93 bolt apart this morning. It's a buffered bolt. This whole buffered bolt thing is new to me.
Anyway, the buffer looked like it had never been disassembled. It was a crime scene in there.
During reassembly I encountered a little resistance while rotating the locking piece into position before installed the bolt head.
I took it back apart and determined that the orientation lobe on the locking piece and the buffer spring appear to share a pocket inside the bolt.
The lobe pushes against the buffer spring a bit. Just want to make sure that's normal?
My second question:
I've done a bit of reading and I think the buffered bolts came in guns with the one piece plastic buttstocks...

Guns with the normal, buffered metal endcap came with unbuffered bolts. Is this correct?
My gun came with a buffered bolt and buffered endcap.
I assume Century or the PO did this when they Frankensteined the gun together. It runs fine and I cant find any evidence of interference or damage.
Is this an issue?
Thanks
