Spare Parts?

Holy Crap man! That's a helluva write-up! Thanks very much. Seriously.
Missed? I dont think you missed anything.

What the hell do you do for a living? Wait, never mind, that's probably on a need-to-know basis too!

I have to admit I bought the clone because it looked cool. I'll never put 6000 rounds thru mine. I had a lot of trouble getting it to run correctly and got no help from Omega.
I wish I could have afforded a Tommybuilt. Oh well, live and learn.

Thanks dude, and you are most welcome. The write up above was a labor of love kinda like the process of building up that stockpile of parts. It's kinda hard to disengage. I literally just got a notice from Brownell's that UMP45 extractors are back in stock and I'm having to fight not ordering one - I don't need any more, so why would I order another one??
I'm just a healthcare administrator, nothing spooky.
Nothing wrong with an Omega clone. I wouldn't invest in a Tommybuilt gun unless I knew I was going to use it a lot. I'd love to get one of his T36s - they are gorgeous. Will I ever shoot it - maybe once. So why spend the money.
If you sign up for some of the HK-oriented (or not) SMG classes, you will put 1000 - 1500 rounds through the gun. A few years and classes later, you are at 6K rounds. I don't do PCC competitions, but some guys do and put a lot of lead downrange in that process.
