And some serious pitting--.

I've never seen such pitting before. Terry Dyer quality (?); perhaps way back before it was lost in the ocean for several months. Guess it could be made like new if it were completely stripped of all parts and bead blasted down to bare metal for some TLC refinish. I may have some aircraft 'bondo' that is rated at 9Gs & Mach 2+ that this gun could seriously use...
That is the worst HK (real HK, not including clones and Pak/Turk) I've yet seen. That 94 must have been thick with rust before it was refinished. I'd be cuirous to see the condition of the bolt/carrier and inside of the barrel.
To the seller's credit: they have presented the exterior extensively. No surprises for potential buyers in regards to the roller marks and rust pitting.
That being said, does this area look "off" to anyone else? It looks misshapen.

I saw that too. Figured that is where it hit the prop of the sub on its way to the bottom of the ocean...
