My friend Ian and I just returned from a weekend in North Carolina. During this weekend we attended James Williamson's (Teufelshund Tactical) armorer course (one dealing with the MP5 and the other the USP pistol).

We both came away with vastly more knowledge and confidence regarding these two platforms.

James is a great guy, humble and extremely knowledgeable. He starts at 9am promptly (I love that) and we finished when EVERYONE felt they had grasped all the points James was teaching.

I learned about the history of the platforms, how some of the parts are made, and parts of the weapon platform I didn’t know existed or could be removed. I am no longer intimidated by the fire control pieces of the USP or the trigger pack of the MP5.

He coordinated the event well and long before the date of the event. He supplies all the tools needed for the evolution.

I traveled 1900 miles to do these classes and it was worth the time and money I spent to come away with the knowledge James taught me and the confidence James gave me in detail stripping, cleaning, and reassembling these guns.

Thank you James for your time and knowledge as I truly appreciate you.

@drsullivan Thank you for the write-up. It sounds like you're glad you made the investment and found it worthwhile. James would be an interesting guy to talk to and I'd be up for a P7 course personally. Maybe one day if ample time ever became available.

James is a great and intelligent person. My son and I had the opportunity to go to a day with HK with him and Jim Schatz ........and it was great!!!!!!
